Good for a Change November Week of Action

During the week of November 6th to 12th, almost 125 volunteers of all ages gathered together for a variety of events. Supporting veterans, patients of Children's Hospital, refugees, and homeless youth, volunteers made a difference locally and nationally. See the video below for more details.

 

As JFK said, "We are not here to curse the darkness, but to light a candle that can guide us through the darkness to a safe and sane future."

Ravenna Park Cleanup, September 17th

On September 17th, 2017:

 

40 neighbors came together to remove

37 bags of trash and show

13 children participating the value of service.

 

Countless visitors of Ravenna Park saw a message that

Diversity Makes America Great. 

 

Candidate for City Council Position Teresa Mosqueda joined us in the effort and saw the strength of our community.

 

  

Magnuson Park Cleanup, August 26th

Seattle's Magnuson Park is beautiful. For the most part it is rather clean. However, if you look closely, there is litter scattered throughout. On August 26th, 2017:

 

31 Good for a Change Volunteers came together

19 bags of trash were removed from the park, and

11 children participated and saw the meaning of service.

 

Countless patrons of the park saw our message that:

 

Diversity Makes America Great.

 

Ravenna Park Cleanup, July 30th

Abandoned camp sites were littered near play areas in Ravenna Park.

 

37 Good for a Change volunteers came together

21 bags of trash were removed from the park

150+ needles were removed from the park

11 children participated and saw the meaning of service
